All graduands must collect their academic regalia at Serangoon Broadway Studio. Payment for rental fees and deposit is made at the time of collection. Please do not pay SUSS directly. The deposit will be refunded once the academic regalia is returned in good condition.*

Withdrawal
If you need to withdraw your attendance due to unforeseen circumstances, please email [email protected] with your full name, PI number, programme, and contact number. Use "Withdrawal of Attendance" as the subject header.
Important Details
- Only graduates and guests who have successfully registered for Convocation will be admitted
- Convocation registration will take place from 10 to 28 August 2026
- Please arrive at least 1 hour before your ceremony and register during the allocated time slot
- We recommend arriving early in case of unforeseen delays. Latecomers will not be admitted once the ceremony has commenced
Graduate Admission
Upon arrival, graduates are to wear their full academic regalia before proceeding to the registration counter at the entrance to the hall. Graduates who are not properly attired will not be allowed to register or attend the ceremony.
Guest Admission
Guests should bring the guest admission card for entry. Please share this information with your guest(s). For more details, see the Guest Guide.
Dress Code
Academic regalia is compulsory for all graduates receiving certificates at the ceremony. The University will exclude any graduate who is not appropriately dressed for this formal occasion.
All graduates are to observe the following dress code:
- Gentlemen: long-sleeved shirt with collar, a tie, dark-coloured long pants, and dress shoes
- Ladies: long-sleeved shirt or blouse with collar, dark-coloured long pants or a knee-length skirt, with court shoes. Mini-skirts are not advisable. For safety, comfortable heels are recommended
- Traditional Attire: Graduates who wish to wear traditional attire may do so
- Not permitted: casual pants/jeans, t-shirts, polo shirts, shorts, bermudas, slippers, sneakers, canvas shoes, sports shoes, sandals
Please collect your academic regalia early to allow time to iron it before the ceremony. We strongly encourage ironing your regalia for a smart, presentable look and better photos on the day.
Note: The Academic Regalia generally look good with a white shirt/blouse.
How to Wear the Academic Regalia

Ceremony Etiquette
The University reserves the right to remove any graduate whose behaviour disrupts the ceremony or compromises the safety and enjoyment of others.
Convocation Procedure
The Academic Procession will enter the hall at the timings below for the respective sessions:
Morning Session (Session 3 & 6): 10:00am
Afternoon Session (Session 1, 4 and 7): 2.00pm
Evening Session (Session 2, 5 and 8): 6.00pm
- During the presentation of degree certificates, an usher will direct you and other graduates seated in your row to line up at the side aisle.
- Present your admission card at the line-up counter. Once scanned and verified, you'll be checked in and placed in the presentation queue.
- When the presenter reads your name, move forward to receive your folder from the SUSS Presiding Officer and pose for a photograph.
- Proceed down the staircase on the opposite side of the stage, then walk to the side counter to collect your degree certificate and transcript before returning to your seat. Please follow the directions given by the ushers.

* Please note that if the academic regalia is returned after 4 November 2026, the deposit of $150/$200 will be forfeited.
Complimentary Stage Photo
The complimentary stage photo will only be available for collection at Serangoon Broadway Studio from 23 October 2026 onwards.
