Synopsis

MTD111 Creative Design Fundamentals aims to provide students with the knowledge of fundamental design components and skills to create designs for the commercial market. Students will learn all essential design concepts and basic graphical treatments which will lead them to the exciting and dynamic world of design.

Trainer Info

Mr Ng Kok Seng is an experienced educator and multimedia professional with over two decades of expertise in digital design and animation. He holds a Master’s degree in Multimedia Arts from the University of Central England and is WSQ ACLP certified. Jaymen has taught at leading institutions including Singapore University of Social Sciences, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, and LASALLE College of the Arts, specializing in creative design, 3D animation, and interactive media. His industry experience spans major projects for organizations such as MINDEF, Changi Airport, and Singapore Discovery Centre. Passionate about nurturing creativity, Jaymen emphasizes both technical proficiency and strong conceptual development in his teaching.



Course Completion requirements

  • Participants are required to achieve at least 75% attendance and pass any prescribed examinations/assessments or submit any course/project work (if any) under the course requirement.
  • Participants are required to complete all surveys and feedbacks related to the course.
  • The course fees are reviewed annually and may be revised. The University reserves the right to adjust the course fees without prior notice.
