Synopsis
This one-day executive workshop is tailored for leaders, board members, and management teams of charities and IPCs in Singapore. This workshop aims to inform and empower charity leaders to effectively implement and communicate their ESG initiatives, aligning with the Revised Code of Governance for Charities in Singapore.

A. Knowledge and Understanding (Theory Component)

About the Trainers
Ng Herk Low
Herk has extensive experience in facilitating learning and leadership conversations across diverse industries and sectors, having worked on projects and provided training for leading organizations in consulting, finance, healthcare and life sciences, FMCG, media and communications, education, government, and social services. Some past clients include KPMG, UOB, Prudential, EssilorLuxottica, SwissLog, Danone, Star Media (Malaysia), Ministry of Education (Singapore), Synapxe, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, and Ambulance Wish Singapore. Additionally, he is an associate trainer with Korn Ferry, Singapore University of Social Sciences, SIM Global Education, SG Enable, Social Service Institute (a division of NCSS), and Workplace Asia.
Prior to starting his company, Herk spent more than 10 years across different senior leadership roles in the Government and social sectors in Singapore. As Assistant Chief Executive of SG Enable, the focal agency for disability in Singapore, he spearheaded Singapore’s disability-inclusive employment efforts, and led the development of the Enabling Village - an inclusive community space which has won many awards for its social impact.
Herk received the Public Service Commission Overseas Merit Scholarship in 1997, and graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, and a Master of Engineering in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering. He is a Certified Performance Leadership Coach, a GRI Certified Sustainability Professional, a Certified Serving Leader Trainer and Partner, a Certified WorkPlace Big Five Practitioner, and a Fearless Organisation Scan Certified Practitioner (Psychological Safety). He is also a member of the Adult Education Network of Singapore.

Course Fee

1 Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy:
Singaporeans aged 40 and above may enjoy subsidies up to 90% of the course
fees.
2 Enhanced Training Support
for SMEs: SME-sponsored employees (Singaporean Citizens and PRs) aged 21
and above may enjoy subsidies up to 90% of the course fees.
- Participants are required to achieve at least 75% attendance and pass any prescribed examinations/assessments or submit any course/project work (if any) under the course requirement.
- Participants are required to complete all surveys and feedbacks related to the course.
- The course fees are reviewed annually and may be revised. The University reserves the right to adjust the course fees without prior notice.
- Singapore University of Social Sciences reserves the right to amend and/or revise the above schedule without prior notice.

Course Withdrawal and Refund
Request for withdrawal from a course must be submitted to SUSS Academy formally in writing.
- Course Withdrawal before Application Close Date: No charges.
- Course Withdrawal after course confirmation: 50% of the full course fee with an administration fee imposed.
