Synopsis

 

This course equips early childhood educators with practical digital and AI-driven tools to enhance teaching, lesson planning, documentation, and communication with families. Participants will explore age-appropriate digital strategies, AI-supported curriculum design, and time-saving workflow solutions. Through hands-on practice and guided reflection, educators learn to integrate technology meaningfully without increasing children's screen time. The course supports educators in navigating digital transformation while remaining grounded in early childhood pedagogy.

About the Trainer

Dr Cheong Su Fen is the founder of Preschool Market and Lecturer in Early Years Technology at the Singapore University of Social Sciences. She has extensive experience in early childhood curriculum design, digital literacy, STEAM education, and sustainability-focused learning. Dr Cheong has led numerous national and regional initiatives on technology integration, play-based learning, and community engagement, and regularly conducts professional development programmes for educators and parents. Her work focuses on equipping practitioners with practical, future-ready, and child-centred pedagogical approaches.

1 Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy: Singaporeans aged 40 and above may enjoy subsidies up to 90% of the course fees.
2 Enhanced Training Support for SMEs: SME-sponsored employees (Singaporean Citizens and PRs) aged 21 and above may enjoy subsidies up to 90% of the course fees.

  • Participants are required to achieve at least 75% attendance and pass any prescribed examinations/assessments or submit any course/project work (if any) under the course requirement.
  • Participants are required to complete all surveys and feedbacks related to the course.

Course Withdrawal and Refund

Request for withdrawal from a course must be submitted to SUSS Academy formally in writing.

  • Course Withdrawal before Application Close Date: No charges.
  • Course Withdrawal after course confirmation: 50% of the full course fee with an administration fee imposed.
