Synopsis

About the Trainers
Cody Zhang
Cody Zhang is the founder & Global CEO of
SINGTIS Group. Before starting his own business, Cody Zhang worked as
a software engineer for eight years, specializing in image processing
algorithms. During this time, he contributed to the development of one of the
world's first commercial fingerprint recognition algorithms.
In 2015, he founded an incubator in China aimed at
helping entrepreneurs run their businesses more effectively by offering
technology transfer services, consultancy support, and funding opportunities.
The company has grown significantly and is currently thriving, with incubators
and industrial parks covering more than 20 major cities across China and
spanning an area of over 1 million square meters. The company has supported the
development of more than 2,000 technology enterprises, and currently manages industrial
funds with a total scale exceeding 20 billion RMB. During this period, he also
taught master's degree courses and served as an external supervisor at a
prestigious university in China.
In 2018, Cody relocated SINGTIS’s headquarters
to Singapore, marking a pivotal step in the company’s globalization strategy.
He established an investment fund in Singapore with an initial size of USD 100
million, focused on helping Chinese enterprises expand into Southeast Asia,
providing a range of services from technological R&D to localized
operations and cross-border logistics. This approach accelerates the
internationalization process of Chinese companies in Southeast Asia. Given his expertise
in globalization, he was invited to teach courses on Southeast Asian market
expansion to students in the Master of Science in Management program at the
SUSS School of Business.

Course Fee

1 Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy:
Singaporeans aged 40 and above may enjoy subsidies up to 90% of the course
fees.
2 Enhanced Training Support
for SMEs: SME-sponsored employees (Singaporean Citizens and PRs) aged 21
and above may enjoy subsidies up to 90% of the course fees.
- Participants are required to achieve at least 75% attendance and pass any prescribed examinations/assessments or submit any course/project work (if any) under the course requirement.
- Participants are required to complete all surveys and feedbacks related to the course.
- The course fees are reviewed annually and may be revised. The University reserves the right to adjust the course fees without prior notice.
- Singapore University of Social Sciences reserves the right to amend and/or revise the above schedule without prior notice.

Course Withdrawal and Refund
Request for withdrawal from a course must be submitted to SUSS Academy formally in writing.
- Course Withdrawal before Application Close Date: No charges.
- Course Withdrawal after course confirmation: 50% of the full course fee with an administration fee imposed.
- Course Withdrawal after the course commences: Full course fee applies.
