SUSS Career Development partners with industry organisations to provide students and graduates with meaningful opportunities for internships, overseas programmes, graduate employment, and industry engagement.
SUSS Internship Programmes
Two structured internship programmes accessible to all students.
Work Attachment (WA)
- ✔ Six-month structured internship programme
- ✔ Graduation requirement for all full-time students
- ✔ Available for local and overseas placements
Work-Study Degree (WSDeg)
- ✔ Twelve-month structured work-study programme
- ✔ Open to both full-time and part-time learners
- ✔ Available for local placements only
Both programmes are available for students to apply throughout their third academic year. Corporate onboarding typically takes place in January or July each year. Where suitable, off-cycle start dates may also be arranged, subject to mutual agreement with the host organisation.
In 2025, our top internship employers included DBS Bank Ltd, NCS Pte Ltd, Synapxe, KPMG Singapore, Borouge Pte Ltd, OCBC Bank, GlaxoSmithKline Pte Ltd, CMA CGM Group, SHISEIDO Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd., and Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX), reflecting strong industry demand for SUSS interns.
Graduate Employment
As students transition from university to the workforce, SUSS Career Development supports graduates in securing meaningful full-time employment opportunities.
Graduates can explore a wide range of entry-level and graduate roles from trusted employers across diverse industries. Through a centralised platform, students can conveniently search and apply for opportunities, manage applications, and track their job search progress.

The Career Development Office works closely with industry partners across diverse sectors to create meaningful touchpoints that help students explore career pathways, understand employer expectations, and build greater career clarity.
Through a wide range of initiatives such as career fairs, industry visits and panel discussions, students gain valuable exposure to real-world practices, emerging industry trends, and professional networks that complement classroom learning and strengthen workplace readiness.
