About the Event

The SUSS Analytics and Visualisation Challenge 2026 (AVC26) welcomes participation of A’levels, International Baccalaureate, and Polytechnic Diploma students.

In this year’s challenge, you will participate in a one-day competition at SUSS on 16 September 2026. Teams will apply data visualisation techniques to solve a real-world business problem and design an interactive dashboard using Tableau. Participants are expected to have basic data visualisation skills. Please note that no training will be provided as part of the event this year.

All participating teams will present their solutions to a panel of judges. Provisional admissions into the SUSS School of Business, full-time Bachelor of Science in Business Analytics programme,  subject to terms and conditions, may be offered to selected and eligible participants. Attractive prizes await the top-performing teams. In addition, all teams who complete the presentation will receive an e-certificate of participation, which will be emailed within 3–4 weeks after the competition.

Details

The SUSS Analytics and Visualisation Challenge will be held onsite at SUSS on Wednesday, 16 September 2026

Participants are required to bring their own laptop for the competition. A Tableau license will be provided to all registered participants in advance via email. A buffet lunch will be catered on the day of the event, with a vegetarian bento option available upon request.

The competition begins in the morning with the release of a problem statement, after which teams will work together to design a dashboard using Tableau. In the afternoon, each team will present their work directly from their dashboards to a judging panel—PowerPoint slides are not required. Each team will have five to six minutes to present their solution and demonstrate their insights.
