CCS@SUSS aims to raise awareness and understanding of the Chinese language, culture, and contemporary Chinese society through its programmes, courses, research, publications and events/activities.
Centre for Chinese Studies@SUSS (CCS@SUSS) organises various events throughout the year.
The fourth Singapore Early Childhood Education Chinese Symposium which took place virtually on 1 Aug 2020, saw an audience of over 800 people.
The festival garnered an attendance rate of 5,500 over 55 screenings of a total of 69 feature films and short films.
Guest speakers include Mr Yau Lop Poon, Editor-in-Chief of Yazhou Zhoukan and Ms Han Yong Hong, Associate Editor of Lianhe Zaobao.
Four speakers gave presentations tailored to the theme “Teaching and Learning Chinese as a Living Language for Children in their Daily Lives”.
The Master of Education in Early Childhood Education (in Chinese) is offered by Singapore University of Social Sciences in collaboration with Beijing Normal University.
