How to apply

CET Modular Courses Full-time Undergraduate Part-time Undergraduate Graduate Law Programme

Our revised annual admission application period will be from 1 October to 15 March. Applications received by 15 March will be considered for admission to the July intake of the Law programmes.

Digital student card: Please download the SUSS Backpack app on your mobile phone to access your digital student card upon your enrolment as a student. All SUSS students must produce this digital student card when taking the examinations.

e-Application Guide and Forms

Application for undergraduate programmes is to be made online. Each application must be accompanied by a non-refundable application fee of $20.00 (inclusive of prevailing GST) for an e-application (payable online only).

Next, submit your e-application.

You will receive an acknowledgement notification and receipt via email for successful submission of your online application.

If there are any changes to your contact information, especially your email address and contact number, please update us promptly via an email to [email protected]. This is to ensure that notifications are delivered to you.

Notification of Application Status

You will receive notification of your application status via email. The notification will be sent out by 15 June. Alternatively, you may also check your application status via our Online Application Enquiry.

Acceptance of Offer

If you are successful in your application, you will receive enrolment information together with your application outcome notification. You will be invited to participate in the online Acceptance of Offer. The deadlines for Acceptance of Offer is on 30 June. To be accepted as a student, you need to enrol by the stipulated deadline.

You will receive an acknowledgement notification and receipt via email for successful submission of your acceptance of offer.

Appeals

If you wish to appeal against the admission decision of the Singapore University of Social Sciences, you may send an email to [email protected], stating your reason(s) of appeal together any supporting document(s) that was not furnished previously during your application.

Your appeal will be considered and you will be informed of the outcome. Thereafter, the decision of the University is final and further appeals will not be entertained.

Deferment or Withdrawal

Should you decide to defer or withdraw admission after paying the fees, you need to inform the University in writing. If written notice of deferment or withdrawal is given within the cooling off period1, a full refund of the fees paid less $110 (subject to prevailing GST) administrative charge will be given. No refund will be given for deferment or withdrawal thereafter.

1The cooling off period is defined as within 2 weeks of semester commencement after payment of the fees for the first semester of your admission to the University.

MyMail Email Account and Access to Student Portal

All students of the University will receive a personalised email account (MyMail) and password for access to the Student Portal. These will be sent to you via email within 3 working days after your fee payment. You may then login to your email and the Student Portal to access a wide range of information, including your class schedule, lecture and tutorial notes.

The University has a policy that requires all registered students to communicate with the University via their personalized MyMail account for verification of the sender’s identity. To ensure prompt follow up on your case, please correspond with the University via your MyMail account.
