Who is Eligible?
- Incoming and current students in the Master’s programme under the School of Business;
- Demonstrate evidence of academic excellence, such as a strong academic record or standardised test scores;
- Exhibit leadership qualities and a commitment to community service;
- Meet the language proficiency requirements of the chosen programme (e.g., English, Mandarin).
To qualify for the study award, incoming students must be accepted for admission into the programme.
Tenure of Study Award
The tenure of the study award is for one semester. There is no bond attached to the study award.
Value of the Grant
Recipients of the Study Award will receive a lump sum of S$2,000 for partial tuition fee coverage for the semester in which it is awarded.

How to Apply
Application Period:
January Semester: 1 August to 15 October
July Semester: 1 February to 15 April

This study award is made possible through the generosity of three good friends – Mr Ling Kin Huat, Mr Goh Hock San, and Mr Lim Swee Hai. They wish to encourage gerontology students at SUSS in their pursuit of knowledge and hope that, in the future, the community of award recipients will also give back to society and help others.
Eligibility
- Possess good academic standing of at least a CGPA of 3.0
- Preference will be given to students with financial need; monthly household per capita income below S$3,000
Value of the Grant
Each study award is valued at S$7,500 and tenable for one academic year.

To apply, submit your e-application together with the supporting documents by the stipulated closing date. Applications without supporting documents will be deemed incomplete and will not be processed.
The following grants are offered by NCSS:
- The PDS – Social Work and Psychology grants provide funding for in-service Social Service Agency staff to acquire their first recognised social work and psychology qualifications to become registered Social Workers and Psychologists. It includes the Graduate Diploma in Social Work / Bachelor of Social Work / approved Masters in Psychology programmes.
- The PDS - Other Social Service-related Graduate and Post Graduate Studies grants provide training subsidies for other local direct social-work related programmes such as the Masters of Counselling / Master of Social Work / Bachelor of Psychology etc.

This study grant is made possible through the generosity of an anonymous donor, supporting students enrolled in the Graduate Diploma in Gerontology or Master of Gerontology programmes.
Eligibility
- Singapore Citizens
- Pursuing Graduate Diploma in Gerontology OR Master of Gerontology programme
- Completed Graduate Certificate in Gerontology
- Monthly household per capita income (PCI) of less than $3,000
Value of the Grant
Each study award is valued at S$1,000 and will be provided as cash disbursement.

For students pursuing Graduate Studies programmes and requiring assistance in financing their tuition fees, there are other loan options offered by the banks. As these loans are not administered by SUSS, please contact the banks directly for details.

The Post Secondary Education Account (PSEA) scheme helps parents save for their children's post-secondary education. It is administered by the Ministry of Education and automatically opened for all eligible Singaporeans.
Students may apply to use their own or their siblings' PSEA to pay fees at SUSS and other approved institutions.
PSEA Balance

In support of Singapore's focus on encouraging marriage and parenthood, all part-time adult students will qualify for two free courses when they get married or have children during their programme of study.
Please note that the Marriage and Baby Bonus Scheme will cease from July 2027 semester onwards.
Eligibility
- They must be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident.
- They must have registered their marriage on or after 23 July 2018 and during their programme of study.
- Their child/children must be born/adopted on or after 23 July 2018 and during their programme of study.
Both husband and wife are eligible individually if they are both students of SUSS.

The SUSS Student Care Fund aims to provide contingency financial grant for students facing sudden or immediate financial hardship, arising from unexpected family and life situations. The fund is made possible through the generosity of a group of donors. By alleviating financial stress, it enables students to focus on their academic journey and personal development.
Eligibility
- Current SUSS undergraduate and graduate students.
- Requires assistance with living expenses due to retrenchment, involuntary leave, dismissal, layoff, demise, debilitating health issues, or other hardship circumstances.
Supporting documents are required based on the specific situation (e.g., medical bills, death certificate, company letter, or other relevant documents).
Value of the Grant
Each eligible recipient receives S$1,000 paid via PayNow (NRIC).

Applications are open all year round. Submit your online application with supporting documents here. Applicants will be notified via email within 2 weeks. Incomplete applications will not be processed.
Please note that applications received after 15 December of each Academic Year will be considered for the following January semester. For example, for applications received after 15 December 2026, they will be considered for January 2027 semester.
