Chen Chun Swe Scholarship
This scholarship is made possible through the generosity of Ms Dolly Chen, in honour of her late father Mr Chen Chun Swe. A patriot, Mr Chen was active in the pro-independence movement. He was guided by a steadfast commitment to justice and the future of his community. A kind and jovial man, he was well-known for his great generosity and helpfulness to all who knew him. His legacy of patriotism and courage lives on through this award.
Who is Eligible?
- Full-time undergraduates from the School of Business who are Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents;
- Achieved good academic and co-curricular activities records, possess strong language skills, and demonstrate leadership qualities; and
- Preference will be given to students with financial needs e.g. monthly household Per Capital Income (PCI) of less than $3,000.
Tenure of Scholarship
This scholarship is to be awarded on an annual basis, and students must apply for it annually. There is no bond attached to the scholarship.
Value of Scholarship
Each award is S$7,500 and will support recipient for the following academic year (2 semesters).

This scholarship is made possible through the generosity of Dou Yee International Pte Ltd, a global enterprise with leading capabilities in electro-static control, electronic packaging materials, and precision metal injection molding. It wish to support students with a strong interest in Chinese culture and language, encouraging them to deepen their understanding of this rich heritage.
Who is Eligible?
- Year 1 full-time undergraduates in the Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Studies programme at point of application;
- Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents;
- Achieved good academic and co-curricular activities records, possess strong language skills, and demonstrate leadership qualities;
- Demonstrate interest in Chinese culture and language; and
- Involvement in community projects in key areas of needs within or beyond SUSS.

Since 2005, the company has strengthened its supply chain through a joint venture in China and logistics services in Singapore, meeting high standards for specialty cement and high-performance concrete. - Incoming full-time undergraduate students in the Bachelor of Science in Information and Communication Technology programme;
- Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents;

Who is Eligible?
- Year 1 full-time Bachelor of Human Resource Management undergraduates at the point of application;
- Singapore Citizens with good academic and co-curricular activities records, active participation in community service and possess strong language skills;
- Preference for students who have interest in starting a career in the Human Resource profession and involvement in community projects in key areas of needs within or beyond SUSS.

Who is Eligible?

Goh Leng Tse and Anthony Teo Scholarship
Mr Goh Leng Tse founded Innovalues in April 1997 and currently serves as the Chairman and CEO of Innovalues Holdings Pte Ltd. The company specialises in producing precision machine parts and components, including printer rollers, mechanical devices, and sub-assemblies. Professor Anthony Teo, a board member of the Middle East Institute (MEI) at the National University of Singapore (NUS), previously worked alongside Mr Goh at Innovalues. He was appointed as an independent director in 2005 and was last re-elected as a director during Innovalues' Annual General Meeting in 2014.

J.K – SUSS Scholarship
The J.K – SUSS Scholarships, funded by an anonymous donor, embodies the principle that philanthropy being an altruistic act needs neither acknowledgement nor recognition as the aim is to perpetuate the well-being of others. Inspired by an Indian philosopher’s idea that “Truth is a pathless land,” the donor hopes recipients will embrace the spirit of “paying it forward,” regardless of their means.

- All incoming and current full-time undergraduates who are Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents;

Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple Educational Scholarship
This scholarship is made possible by the Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple, located at 178 Waterloo Street in Singapore, which is a significant Buddhist temple for the Chinese Singaporean community. Established in 1884, it expanded in 1895 and was renovated to its current size in 1983. In 2001, the temple was recognised as a historic landmark. The temple actively donates its income to charitable causes, supporting healthcare, education, and poverty alleviation. It also promotes peaceful coexistence among different religious groups and fosters social responsibility.
Who is Eligible?
- All incoming Year 1 full-time undergraduates who are Singapore Citizens;
- Achieved good academic and co-curricular activities records, possess strong language skills, and demonstrate leadership qualities;
- Priority will be given to students who receive the MOE Higher Education Community Bursary or MOE Higher Education Bursary;

Lim Doa Hin Scholarship
This scholarship is made possible through the generosity of the late Mr Lim Doa Hin. Mr Lim was a Singapore-based businessman who was born in China in the 1920s and came to Singapore after World War II. Through his honesty and diligence, he became a successful entrepreneur and founded Houw Hing Holdings Pte Ltd. He dedicated his estate to charitable causes, with a strong commitment to supporting students in their education.

- Incoming full-time students who are Singapore Citizens and preferably pursuing the Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Studies, Bachelor of Early Childhood or Bachelor of Social Work programme;

Looi Kam Choy Scholarship
This scholarship is made possible through the generosity of Ms Dolly Chen, in honour of her late mother Madam Looi Kam Choy. An accomplished housewife and nanny, Madam Looi was a woman of quiet strength, perseverance and unwavering principles. She inculcated the love of learning and strong moral values in her daughter and all those entrusted to her care. She was generous, compassionate, smart, and always quick with a quip. Madam Looi’s legacy endures in the many lives she touched, to whom she is a model mother, and is commemorated through this award.

This scholarship is made possible by M.Tech Group, a leading regional distributor of cybersecurity and network performance products. Under the M.Tech Group, Multi-Chem specialises in the distribution of specialty chemicals and materials to PCB manufacturers. This scholarship is made possible by one of the founding member of Multi-Chem.

- Full-time Year 1 and Year 2 undergraduate in the Bachelor of Science in Information and Communication Technology at point of application;

Mohamed Abdul Jaleel Scholarship
This scholarship is made possible by a gift from the S M Jaleel Foundation, which focuses on growing philanthropic trust, foundations, and supporting charitable, educational, and social sectors. Established in 2010 by Mr Mohamed Abdul Jaleel, the foundation provides bursaries to students in Singapore’s local schools. As founder and CEO of MES Group Investment Holding Pte Ltd, Mr Jaleel is a strong advocate for education and has supported various charitable causes, including the Yellow Ribbon Fund STAR Bursary and The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund.
Who is Eligible?
- Full-time undergraduate from the S R Nathan School of Human Development (NSHD) or School of Social Work and Social Development (SWSD);
- Singapore Citizen with good academic and co-curricular activities records, active participation in community service and possess strong language skills; and
- Monthly household Per Capita Income (PCI) of S$2,500 or lower. Priority will be given to students with financial difficulties.

Value of Scholarship
Each award is S$7,500 and is to be used within the following academic year (2 semesters) to offset the recipient’s tuition fees, or expenses for regional immersion programme or other educational activities organised by the SUSS, provided that the use of the scholarship fund for the regional programme/activities shall not exceed 25% of the scholarship value.

Ronald Wong Excellence Scholarship
This scholarship is made possible by Mr Ronald Wong, an Associate Faculty member at SUSS. In his commitment to education and student development, the scholarship aims to support full-time students pursuing the Bachelor of Science in Finance, helping them focus on their studies and develop the knowledge and skills needed for their future careers in the finance sector.
Who is Eligible?
- Full-time Bachelor of Science in Finance undergraduates who are Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents;
- Achieved good academic and co-curricular activities records, possess strong language skills, and demonstrate leadership qualities; and
- Preference for students who can demonstrate active involvement in service-learning or community engagement projects.

SCCCF - SUSS Scholarship
This scholarship is made possible by The Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI), a leading business organisation and the apex body for the Chinese business community in Singapore. It founded the biennial World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention and the World Chinese Business Network (www.wcbn.com.sg), a global online business portal. The SCCCI represents local business interests and has been ISO 9001 certified since 1995, upgrading to ISO 9001:2015 in 2018. With a network of over 5,000 corporate members and 160 trade associations, the SCCCI supports business, education, culture, and community development, offering valuable resources and opportunities to its members.
Who is Eligible?
- Year 1 full-time undergraduates who are Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents at point of application;
- Achieved CGPA of at least 4.0 at point of application;
- Good co-curricular activities records and demonstrate leadership qualities;
- Preference will be given to student with financial need or are involved in community projects in key areas of need within or beyond SUSS.
- Scholars will be invited to events, organised by either SUSS or SCCCF. They will be expected to converse in both English and Mandarin, for effective and meaningful engagement with key representatives from SCCCF;
- Donor representation attending the selection interviews will communicate primarily in Mandarin. To ensure an effective session, the candidates need to be able to converse in Mandarin.

This scholarship will support recipients during their remaining 3-year study at SUSS. There is no bond attached to the scholarship.
Value of Scholarship
Each award is S$15,000 per annum for up to 3 years (up to a total of $45,000) and will be used to offset the recipient's tuition fees.

Sim Foundation Chinese Studies Scholarship
This scholarship is made possible by the Sim Foundation, established by the late Mr Sim Hoay Cheok (沈怀祖) who is inspired by Lee Kong Chian's philanthropic contributions to education. He is also strong supporter of the Thong Chai Institute of Medical Research and is the Honorary Chairman. The Sim Foundation’s Chinese Studies Endowment Fund supported the first batch of award recipients for the Chinese Studies Programme at SUSS, which launched in 2023.

- Incoming, Year 1 and Year 2 full-time undergraduates pursuing the Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Studies programme at point of application;
- Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents;

Tan Sri (Dr.) Tan Chin Tuan Scholarship
The Tan Chin Tuan Foundation (TCTF) was established on 10 April 1976 by the late Tan Sri (Dr) Tan Chin Tuan, a distinguished banker and philanthropist. The foundation was created to share the rewards of his successful career by supporting those in need and uplifting the less fortunate. Mr Tan served as Chairman of OCBC Bank from 1966 to 1983, playing a pivotal role in its formation through strategic mergers. Today, the foundation continues to support viable, sustainable, and well-managed causes with measurable social impact. Mr Tan was also the paternal uncle of former Singapore President Tony Tan.
Who is Eligible?
- New and current SUSS full-time undergraduate pursuing the Bachelor of Social Work Programme;
- Singapore Citizen/Permanent Resident with good academic and co-curricular activities records, active participation in community service and possess strong language skills;
- Eligible applicants who demonstrate financial needs will be given priority; and
- Preference will be given to candidates who have made contributions to the school and/or community.
Tenure of Scholarship
The tenure of this scholarship is 1 academic year. Recipients may re-apply for the scholarship and renewal is on a year-to-year basis, subject to academic merit and financial need. There is no bond attached to the scholarship.

Temasek Foundation - Nithiah Nandan Arumugam Scholarship
Temasek Foundation supports diverse initiatives focusing on social and cultural interaction, education, and aid for the disadvantaged in Asia. This scholarship honours Mr Nithiah Nandan s/o Arumugam, an eminent union leader who championed the welfare of lower-income workers and advocated for skills upgrading. Even in his final days battling renal cancer, Mr Nithi signed Collective Agreements to protect workers’ interests in the Singapore Power Group, ensuring job stability for union members during the sale of three generation companies. Mr Nithi served as NTUC Vice-President from 1997 until his passing in 2007.
Temasek Foundation - RKS Nachiappan Scholarship
Temasek Foundation supports diverse initiatives focusing on social and cultural interaction, education, and aid for the disadvantaged in Asia. This scholarship honours Mr Nachiappan RK Sinniah, a distinguished union leader who embodied servant leadership values. Mr Nachi championed workforce upgrading by mobilising employers, NTUC, and the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) to develop the Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) framework. He served as Emeritus General Secretary of the Union of Power and Gas Employees (UPAGE) from 2015 until his passing in 2021.
Who is Eligible?
- Full-time undergraduates who are Singapore Citizens with good academic and co-curricular activities records, and active participation in the community.
- Monthly household Per Capita Income (PCI) of S$1,875 or lower.
Tenure of Scholarship
The tenure of this scholarship is for one academic year. Recipients may re-apply for the scholarship and renewal is on a year-to-year basis, subject to academic merit and financial needs. There is no bond attached to the scholarship.

The UOB Future Resilience Scholarship aims to recognise academic excellence among full-time undergraduates, as well as nurture a social entrepreneurial mindset.
Who is Eligible?
- All incoming and current full-time undergraduates who are Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents;

Yangzheng Foundation Endowed Eldercare Scholarship
In 1905, the Cantonese community established Yeung Ching School (养正学校) in Chinatown to provide primary education, with "" symbolising the nurturing of young minds with proper values. In 1990, the trustees transformed the school into the Yeung Ching Foundation (now Yangzheng Foundation), expanding its societal contributions. The Foundation focuses on promoting education in Singapore, supporting needy students, and aiding charitable organisations in social development. Many schools, universities, hospitals, and other charities have benefitted from its support.
Who is Eligible?
- Full-time undergraduate in Year 1 or Year 2 at point of application with interest to work in the eldercare sector;
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident with good academic and co-curricular activities records, active participation in community service, possess strong language skills, and demonstrate leadership qualities.
Tenure of Scholarship
This scholarship is to be awarded on an annual basis, and eligible students have to apply for it annually. Lee Kuan Yew Scholarship to Encourage Upgrading (LKY-STEP) Award
The Lee Kuan Yew Scholarship to Encourage Upgrading (LKY-STEP) Award was established from donations received from Mr Lee Kuan Yew through the sale proceeds of autographed editions of Volume 2 of his Memoirs. The objective of the award is to encourage skill upgrading and lifelong learning. The award will be offered to outstanding polytechnic graduates pursuing full-time undergraduate degree programmes at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore Management University (SMU), Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) and Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.
- Successful awardees should read a full-time undergraduate degree programme leading to a first degree at NTU, NUS, SMU, SUTD, SIT or SUSS.
- Possess outstanding local Polytechnic Diploma (preferably Diploma with Merit) or SIT (Poly-FSI) qualifications.
- Excellent co-curricular records.
- Strong leadership qualities and potential.
*Award holders must commence their study in any full-time undergraduate programme at NTU, NUS, SMU, SUTD, SIT or SUSS in the same academic year of application.
Benefits of Award
- One-time cash award of S$3,500.
- Subsidised Tuition fees will be waived by the universities if LKY-STEP Award holders are unsuccessful in securing a concurrent scholarship.
- No bond attached, apart from the three-year bond applicable to all Singapore PRs under the MOE Tuition Grant Scheme.

Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is the Secretariat for the LKY-STEP Award in Academic Year 2026/2027.

The ASEAN Undergraduate Scholarship is a freshmen scholarship offered to support outstanding students from ASEAN member countries (excluding Singapore).
Who is Eligible?
The Scholarship is open to full-time International Students (exclude law students) who are citizens of an ASEAN* member country, excluding Singapore.
You must have good academic and co-curricular activities records, active participation in community service, possess strong language skills, and demonstrate leadership qualities.
