中文金融科技学硕士项目以中文为授课和课程考核语言，旨在为学生提供金融科技理论、应用和行业实践方面的坚实基础。课程涵盖金融科技基础知识、金融科技中的数据科学、金融科技中的区块链技术和设计思维、金融中的云计算、量子计算和人工智能，以及金融科技的道德和治理框架等重要主题，理论与实践并重，通过理论推演、课堂讨论、案例分析和实践模拟，帮助学生在最短的时间内了解和掌握最新的金融科技理念、思维和技术。

课程结构
课程由以下两部分组成：
- 金融科技学选修课程
- 其他选修课程
课程采用学分制，成功修满60个学分，累计平均绩点（CGPA）最少达到3.0，可获得新加坡社科大学颁发的金融科技学硕士学位。在修读过程中，达到一定学分和要求的学生将获得金融科技学研究生证书和金融科技学研究生文凭。
具体的学习进程如下：

- 完成15学分的课程后， 学员的累积平均绩点（CGPA）须达到2.5或以上方能被授予金融科技学研究生证书。
- 完成30学分的课程后， 学员的累积平均绩点（CGPA）须达到2.5或以上方能被授予金融科技学研究生文凭。
- 完成60学分的课程后， 学员的累积平均绩点（CGPA）须达到3.0或以上方能被授予金融科技学硕士学位。

全日制课程（即速成轨MFTH-A）
全日制课程向非全职工作的新加坡公民和永久居民，以及国际学生开放。全日制课程学生平均每学期学习30学分的课程，并在一 (1)年内完成所有课程。需要办理学生签证的国际学生必须申请全日制课程。
非全日制课程（即常规轨MFTH）
非全日制课程向新加坡公民和永久居民, 持工作准证或其他长期准证者开放。非全日制课程学生每学期最多选择20学分的课程，并在最长四 (4)年内完成所有课程。
有兴趣的申请者可以先提交申请，然后在入学面试中评估他们适合的类型。
注：新加坡社科大学保留在任何时候调整课程结构、内容和运作方式的权利。

Admission Requirements
入学要求中文金融科技学硕士项目招收新加坡公民、新加坡永久居民和国际学生。申请人需要满足以下入学标准：
- 具备官方认可的本科学士学位或同等资质。具有相关工作经验和其他资质的申请人可以根据个别情况予以考虑。
- 对于非中文院校授予的学位，申请者应达到HSK 5级180分或以上。
- 工作经验不是必需条件，但可以增加申请人的优势。
- 社会服务或志愿服务不是必须条件，但可以增加申请人的优势。
- 具备申请资格的申请人有可能需要参加招生委员会的面试。

Through courses covering fintech innovation, artificial intelligence and digital transformation, blockchain, cloud computing and cybersecurity, I was encouraged to move beyond a conventional financial perspective and approach complex challenges through the interconnected lenses of technology, business strategy and social value. The practice-oriented learning environment at SUSS, particularly its emphasis on case studies, collaborative projects and business solution development, helped me recognise that technology itself is not the ultimate goal of innovation. Rather, its true value lies in how effectively it can be applied to address real-world challenges and create meaningful impact. This perspective inspired me to further explore the convergence of artificial intelligence, ESG and green finance, and to consider how emerging technologies can be translated into practical solutions for traditional industries. Building on my observations of real-world operations in the construction sector, I have begun exploring how digital technologies can transform operational data — including information on site operations, workplace safety, energy consumption and workforce management — into meaningful inputs for ESG assessment and green finance. This journey has allowed me to connect what I learned at SUSS with practical industry challenges and has reinforced my belief in the transformative potential of interdisciplinary innovation. Looking ahead, I hope to continue exploring the intersection of artificial intelligence, financial technology and sustainable development, translating ideas into real-world applications and creating solutions that deliver meaningful and lasting value. |

The curriculum covers not only the foundational logic and cutting-edge applications of FinTech, but also distinguishes itself by being highly practical and closely aligned with the latest technological trends, fostering an inclusive and inspiring learning environment. During my studies, I covered subjects ranging from blockchain programming and design thinking to AI, machine learning, and deep learning in finance, as well as ethics, governance, and compliance in the digital age. This journey deepened my understanding of the convergence of finance and technology and taught me to approach issues from technical, business, and ethical perspectives. The professors emphasized discussion and project-based learning, exposing me to diverse viewpoints; this exchange of ideas broadened my horizons and underscored the importance of lifelong learning. I am deeply grateful to the SUSS faculty for their guidance and inspiration. Before coming to SUSS, I already had several years of work experience. My professional experience gave me valuable practical knowledge, but it also made me realize that past experience needs to be continuously updated, and that future development requires a more systematic set of knowledge and skills. I believe that stepping onto a bigger platform allows us to see more possibilities and pursue greater opportunities. That was why I chose to come to Singapore—to continue learning in a new environment and to open up more possibilities for my future. Eventually, I chose the Master’s programme in Chinese Financial Technology at SUSS. What attracted me was not only the programme itself, but also the learning environment and the diverse opportunities for interaction and exchange that SUSS provides. Here, I was able to gain a new perspective on an industry, a city, and the direction I want to take in the future. To me, SUSS is more than just a university. It has been a bridge connecting me with Singapore. When I first arrived, everything felt unfamiliar. Being alone in a foreign country, I experienced moments of loneliness and uncertainty. But gradually, I became familiar with the campus, met lecturers and classmates, took part in different activities, and built my own circle of friends and connections. Over time, I no longer felt like someone simply living in a foreign country. I began to feel that I was truly becoming part of this place. That sense of connection and belonging is one of the most meaningful things my alma mater, SUSS, has given me. Through campus life, I gradually found my way into the wider community and developed a stronger connection with Singapore and its society. Throughout this year of study, I gained much more than professional knowledge. I made friends, built meaningful connections, and gradually developed greater courage, independence, and the ability to take action. These qualities were shaped through the challenges of studying abroad and learning to overcome difficulties on my own. Having already experienced the working world before returning to university, I have come to appreciate learning in a different way. The classroom discussions, group projects, assignments, and countless challenges allowed me to experience student life once again. More importantly, they taught me that learning is not about finding a single answer, but about developing the ability to face new questions and challenges. Today, graduation does not mean the end of learning. Instead, it marks the beginning of the next chapter. I am grateful that I once made the decision to “come to Singapore and start again,” and even more grateful that I chose SUSS. Perhaps I do not yet have a definite answer to where I will go or how far I will travel in the future. He has more than ten years of experience in Asian equity research, covering sectors including offshore & marine services, consumer, metals & mining, and healthcare. His research experience also spans strategies involving index rebalance strategy, holding-company discount arbitrage, and equity capital markets deals. Mr Yan previously worked at Religare Capital Markets, Smartkarma and Aequitas Research, and is the founder of Shenton Research. He currently serves as Lead Analyst at Shenton Research, where his research focuses on Asia-Pacific equity capital markets, index rebalance strategies, and small- and mid-cap equities. He has over 15 years of experience across the technology and fintech sectors, with expertise in digital transformation and AI applications. Previously, Willie served as Senior Finance Manager at Huawei in the Middle East and Account Manager at Apple in China. He also undertook a one-year Senior Fellowship programme at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore.
