Overview
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is no longer optional for business success—it's essential. From chatbots to personalised recommendations and autonomous operations, AI is transforming industries. The Master of Artificial Intelligence for Business (MAIB) programme equips professionals with the strategic and technical understanding to lead this transformation—without requiring a technical background.
Designed for business executives, decision-makers, and aspiring AI specialists, this programme offers a practical, modular, and industry-driven curriculum. Students will gain foundational proficiency in Python, AI ethics, and machine learning; explore key AI applications such as natural language processing, computer vision, deep learning, and generative AI; and understand how AI drives business strategy and innovation. They can choose to specialise in areas such as Analytics, Marketing, Management, Financial Technology, and will apply AI thinking to real-world business problems through hands-on projects and practical applications.
Unique Features of the Programme
- The programme is stackable and designed for flexibility. Students can progress from the Graduate Certificate in Artificial Intelligence for Business (GCAIB) to the Graduate Diploma in Artificial Intelligence for Business (GDAIB), and eventually to the Master of Artificial Intelligence for Business (MAIB) Master of Management (Artificial Intelligence For Business) and Master of Social Science (Artificial Intelligence For Business). This modular structure supports lifelong learning and allows working professionals to upskill at their own pace.
- The programme offers four specialisation clusters catering to diverse business functions: Analytics, Marketing, Management, Financial Technology (FinTech).
- The MAIB adopts the "X + AI" approach, enabling learners from non-technical domains such as marketing, finance, and operations to apply AI technologies effectively within their industries. Foundational training in programming and AI concepts ensures accessibility for non-technical professionals.
- Courses are co-taught by experienced SUSS faculty and industry experts from leading organisations such as Google, Nike, and other top technology and innovation-driven companies. This ensures that students gain both academic depth and real-world perspective. The curriculum places a strong emphasis on practical application through hands-on projects, live case studies, and industry-informed content.
