The Science of Learning (SoL) Grant seeks to support science-based research (which includes but is not limited to neuroscience, cognitive science and technology that augment human intelligence) that could explicate the principles, processes and mechanisms of learning and skills acquisition to generate implementable and scalable interventions that improve education and skills development, and hence advance Singapore’s human potential. The SoL grant is opened to eligible researchers from Autonomous Universities, Polytechnics, Institute of Technical Education or A*STAR research institutes.
Application Process
Every year, the grant call is announced to researchers from Institutes of Higher Learning (IHL). Applicants will go through two stages during their application:
1. Internal review by the SUSS Evaluation Panel
2. External reviews and recommendation/approval by the ERFPO
