FAQ (Teaching Support)

The Teaching and Learning Centre offers a range of teaching workshops and professional development events to our Faculty and Associates. You can refer to Training Calendar for more details.

All workshops are complimentary, unless specified otherwise.

For associates, you can refer to the Associate Handbook in the Associate Portal.

For Faculty, you can refer to the Faculty Handbook in MySUSS portal.

The handbook introduces you to our university’s teaching context, methods and strategies. It also describes SUSS’s academic and administrative arrangements, and explains how these could affect your role at SUSS.

There is a Lecturers’ Lounge located at Blk C, Level 8, Room C.8.06. You may use the PCs provided to prepare for your lessons. The access code to the Lecturers’ Lounge can be found on page 38 of the Associate Handbook.

Yes, photocopying services is available at the Lecturers’ Lounge. However, you will need to bring your own printing papers.

For use of the AV equipment, please refer to the guide HERE. If you face any difficulties with regards to the usage of equipment, you may contact SIM Service Desk Hotline at 6248 9090.

No, all lecture theatres, tutorial rooms and seminar or laboratory venues are equipped with a whiteboard (with markers), a desktop computer, visualizer, projector and a projection screen.
