This 1-hour talk on speed reading is a precursor to a 3-hour workshop on 11 March 2024 which teaches students how to skim and scan long-form text efficiently, while maintaining or even enhancing comprehension of the content. At this talk, students will be introduced to the benefits and applications of speed reading, and find out how they can adapt their pace of reading for different types of content and reading purposes.
