Service-Learning and Building Social Capital in Grassroots...

Service-Learning (S-L) project interventions for community development commonly focus on helping partner communities build their physical, natural, financial, and human capitals. However, it is seldom that building the community’s social capital becomes an S-L project intervention. Hence, this workshop aims to equip S-L enthusiasts with the basic knowledge and skills they need in order to help their partner communities build their social capital by making use of the Sense of Community Index II.
