Service-Learning Pedagogy in Teaching-Learning Process...

This study aimed to test the effectiveness of the Service-Learning Model as a teaching-learning strategy in science subject and its implication to the community. This study utilized the combination of quasi-experimental and descriptive quantitative research designs. Earth and environmental science students and sample size from the community became the participants of this study. It is found in this study that service-learning approach helped the students improve their performance in the subject, and likewise the awareness and practices of the community.
