Smartphone technologies for recording interviews

With the power of social media, the push to create video and audio content has never seen greater demand. Service learning practitioners need to embrace new technology and enhance their skills in media production. High quality recording equipment used to be expensive and difficult to operate. In the past year, affordable high quality equipment is now available to everyone, to document and record interviews. The proposed workshop will expose participants to these new microphones as well as recording techniques used by professionals to produce high quality video and audio recordings.
