Community development (CD) and community organizing (CO) can be tapped as closed and vital strategies for community and service learning engagement. CD is a tool of and for recognizing and building up peoples’ innate potentials, capabilities, direction and participation toward change. CO as a closed conduit of community development plays important role as it empowers and energizes community people and sectors that are powerless. CO can assist and facilitate the community to set short and long term development.
