Workshop on Conceptualizing and Assessing Civic Learning...

According to virtually all definitions of service learning, civic learning is an intentional learning objective for students in service learning courses. The purpose of this workshop is to share information about the nature of civic learning, how to enhance its development when designing service learning courses, and how to assess it. The workshop will establish the important connections between conceptualization, implementation, and assessment, based on what the participants want to emphasize in their service learning courses.
