Originally known as the UNISIM Psychological Student's Society (UPSS), PSYConnect was established in 2007.

Following UNISIM's transition to Singapore's University of Social Sciences (SUSS) in 2019, the society was renamed PSYConnect.

The Psychology Interest Group serves as a safe and supportive space for psychology majors to connect with their peers, receive mentorship, ask questions, and engage in enriching educational activities.
