ADL523 Research Methodology explores a wide range of research methods commonly adopted in education, psychology and social sciences. This course provides knowledge for students to understand the fundamentals of quantitative research methods as well as qualitative research methods across disciplines. Various stages of the research process are introduced to students, from the development of research questions, construction of research design, and methods of data collection and analysis. By exploring these topics, students will develop the skills to conduct scientific inquiries.
