Synopsis

CCC201 Modern Chinese Grammar and Rhetoric provides the students with a general knowledge of Chinese lexicology, syntax and rhetoric. It is designed to promote a good understanding of the syntactic and rhetorical structures of Chinese language. Students are given opportunity to analyze the syntactic and rhetorical features of the Chinese texts. The course builds a strong foundation in Chinese language and prepares the students for working in a relevant field such as teaching, translation and research.
