Through the introduction of the life and historical background of Li Bai and Du Fu, students will understand the societal context of their times and the problems faced by both poets, and how these influence their literary creation and achievements. Through a critical reading of the poems, students will learn about the poets' pursuit of literary excellence and self-actualization.
