Synopsis

ECL303e Integrating ICT into Teaching and Learning Chinese in Early Childhood Education aimsto equip course participants with a basic understanding of contemporary learning theories, andcommon ICT tools in early childhood education. It focuses on developing their basic skills inintegrating ICT into teaching and learning of Chinese for young children. Through case studies,group discussions, teachers’ reflection, hands-on operations, and design of an e-learning unit, thiscourse will empower teachers to integrate ICT into their daily teaching practices and to continuallydevelop their Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge for early childhood education.

E-Learning: - Learning is done MAINLY online using interactive study materials in Canvas. Students receive guidance and support from online instructors via discussion forums and emails.
