Synopsis

FMT309 Building Diagnostics will provide students an insight on the building defects commonly found in buildings in this course. These include structural and architectural defects, building envelope and waterproofing. This course will also cover defects and recommend solutions for repair, replacement and improvements.

E-Learning: BLENDED - Learning is done MAINLY online using interactive study materials in Canvas. Students receive guidance and support from online instructors via discussion forums and emails. This is supplemented with SOME face-to-face sessions. If the course has an exam component, this will be administered on-campus.
