Synopsis

HCM511, Evaluating HCM Programmes and Initiatives, is about the art and science of HC measurement. HC measurement has gained importance as organizations seek to quantify the return on investments on their employees. It provides an “information roadmap” with which HR managers will be in a better position to support their organizations’ business strategies. Topics include: an introduction to evaluation, models of evaluation, different tools and techniques of evaluation, creating and implementing a HR scorecard, human capital risk management, and continuous performance improvement. Examples of applications are: the ROI of human capital, cost-benefit analysis, measurement of productivity and efficiency, staffing and learning, employee morale, talent retention, compensation and benefit values.
