Synopsis

ICT263 AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner is intended for students who seek an overall understanding of cloud computing concepts, independent of specific technical roles. It provides a detailed overview of cloud concepts, AWS core services, security, architecture, pricing, and support. By the end of this course, students will gain basic knowledge on cloud computing including networking, computing, and storage. They will be able to differentiate between various cloud services like Amazon S3, EBS, EFS, and S3 Glacier. This course will prepare students to take the Certification exam for AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.

Learning Outcome

  • Conclude the AWS Cloud and identify the global infrastructure components of AWS.
  • Explain the architectural principles of the AWS Cloud and the AWS pricing philosophy.
  • Describe the security and compliance measures of the AWS Cloud.
  • Demonstrate the use of Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), AWS Lambda, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, and different AWS database services.
  • Differentiate between Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), Amazon Elastic Block Store (Amazon EBS), Amazon Elastic File System (Amazon EFS), and Amazon Simple Storage Service Glacier (Amazon S3 Glacier).
  • Create a virtual private cloud (VPC) by using Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC).
