Capstone ICT Project (ICT499)

The project provides opportunities for students to integrate and apply relevant knowledge, understanding and skills developed during their programme of study, develop as a reflective practitioner, being aware of their knowledge and skills, how they are using them and what is learnt from the experience, and demonstrate the knowledge and skills needed for a project consistent with the requirements of professional institutions. The topic is based on any one of the Level 3 courses that a student has undertaken.

• o Able to draw together and integrate the knowledge and skills gained in the other courses from the BICT degree programme.
• o Be able to do independent study, and to develop an ability to organize work with a view to achieving a clearly specified goal in the design an information system.
• o Be able to present an independent piece of work in both written and oral form
