Synopsis

Today’s modern society, mindsets, and global competition demand new leadership roles. To create a competitive edge, it is paramount that leaders adopt an agile mindset which involves understanding, collaborating, learning, and staying flexible. Without organisational agility, enterprises will not be able to respond quickly to opportunities and threats. MGT568 Agile Leadership Principles and Practices examines the agile mindset, culture, values, principles, and foundations that are critical for effective leadership. Students will gain deeper insights into agile business practices that can empower individuals and teams as well as drive organisational transformation and resilience. Through real-world business approaches and tools, students will learn how to manage challenges, make decisions, and engage in interactions for optimal individual and team performance in the new normal. In addition, students will be able to apply agile leadership principles and practices to improve decision making, facilitate creativity and problem solving, and accelerate organisational productivity.
