The Fourth Industrial Revolution has resulted in shifts and disruptions that have the potential to connect billions more people to digital networks, dramatically improving the efficiency of business decision making and organisational processes. This course examines the evolution of Industry 4.0 and its applications in the business world. It provides a comprehensive coverage on the role of data, information, knowledge, as well as various Industry 4.0 technologies and applications. In order to gain a competitive edge, companies need to respond to these disruptive changes and proactively develop their own disruptions for organizational transformation and growth. This course examines the market-driven forces of digital disruption, the techniques to lead digital transformation, and the leadership challenges associated with operating in a disruptive environment.
