Philanthropic Advising (NPM517)

NPM517 Philanthropic Advising aims to lay the foundations for the development of advisory expertise for impactful and sustainable philanthropic giving by individuals and family offices. The course introduces a curriculum to achieve effective and responsible application of philanthropic funds, with a view of achieving greater impact of philanthropic giving and satisfaction for the giver. The course aims to provide an understanding of the philanthropy landscape and the regulatory environment that governs charities and philanthropic giving in Singapore. It will equip students with knowledge and practical techniques for evaluation of sector needs, risk analysis, and impact evaluation of intervention programmes.
