Integrated Public Safety and Security Management (PSS388)

Synopsis

PSS388 Integrated Public Safety and Security Management aims to provide the students with the analytical, formulation, and implementation tools related to safety and risk management. With the evolving security landscape, security professionals are required to take a proactive stance in identifying and mitigating security risks across different domains of security: administrative, physical, and technical. Students will learn various strategies and techniques that can be used to identify the organisation’s assets, conduct threat and vulnerability analysis, and evaluating the security risk levels that the organisation is exposed to. Based on the risk analysis, students will learn how to prioritise and communicate the security risks that warrant immediate actions from senior management.
