Supervised Practicum I

Synopsis

This foundational practicum prepares the student to embark on a career as a professional psychologist. The programme is comprehensively designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to become ethical and competent professionals in psychology. The practicum comprises workshops, projects, and field placement. Didactic instruction, interactive discussions, observations of experienced psychologists at work, supervised practice, and hands-on experience from their learning experience. Students will experience the complexities of working within organisations, requiring them to work collaboratively across disciplines and with multiple stakeholders.
