Changes are inevitable in any organization, especially during the new normal. Changes can occur at the individual, corporate and industry levels. Changes can produce positive, negative, or neutral outcomes. The current socio-economic conditions have proven that managing changes is critical to sustainability since the external and internal environments of an organization have been dynamic and evolving over time. The increasing volatility of the external and internal environment as well as changes in customers’ preferences and needs are considered as both strategic drivers and rationale for changes within organizations. In this context, this workshop aims to equip trainees with knowledge of change, change management, and how to respond to external volatility and internal weaknesses to successfully manage a change process, including managing resistance to change.

Associate Prof. Huong Ha (PhD)
Head of Business Programme School of Business Singapore University of Social Sciences
Ha’s previous positions include dean, director of research and development, deputy course director, chief editor, executive director, business development manager, etc. in many countries. She holds a PhD from Monash University (Australia) and a master’s degree from National University of Singapore. She was a recipient of a Ph.D. scholarship (Monash University), Temasek scholarship (National University of Singapore), and a scholarship awarded by the United Nations University/International Leadership Academy, and many other scholarships, professional and academic awards, and research-related grants.
She has several years of experience in lecturing, training and undertaking consulting projects. She has published more than 80 journal articles, books, book chapters, conference papers, and articles in encyclopedias, including her authored book Change Management for Sustainability by BEP (USA). She has been a reviewer of many peer-reviewed and high-ranking international journals and international conferences.

Course Fee
1 Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy: Singaporeans aged 40 and above may enjoy subsidies up to 90% of the course fees.
2 Enhanced Training Support for SMEs: SME-sponsored employees (Singaporean Citizens and PRs) aged 21 and above may enjoy subsidies up to 90% of the course fees.
Participants are required to achieve at least 75% attendance and pass any prescribed examinations/assessments or submit any course/project work (if any) under the course requirement.
Participants are required to complete all surveys and feedbacks related to the course.
The course fees are reviewed annually and may be revised. The University reserves the right to adjust the course fees without prior notice.
