The School of Law at SUSS trains and produces high calibre lawyers specialising in the areas of criminal law and family law. Our programmes adopt a pedagogical approach that emphasises problem-solving by combining the learning of substantive law with application. Together with exposure to cross-disciplinary areas, our graduates will be prepared to face criminal and family legal work that have become increasingly specialised over time.
The Bachelor of Laws and Juris Doctor programmes aim to develop you into a lawyer within the legal community who specialises in criminal law or family law practices. They provide you with in-depth training as well as exposure to cross-disciplinary areas like sociology, social work and criminology that will arm you with the ability to approach issues from more holistic angles.
