A Success For The Inaugural SUSS SBIZ Business Plan Competition

The SUSS School of Business (SBIZ) held its first SUSS SBIZ Business Plan Competition 2020 online. In total, 43 teams from Junior Colleges (JCs), Polytechnics, Millennia Institute (MI) and the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) submitted their business plans to address various social issues in Singapore.

After rigorous screening and careful evaluation, five teams were chosen to present their innovative business plans in the final competition held virtually on 18 July 2020.

The third prize went to the team hEAR.you from Hwa Chong Institution who proposed a business plan to help people with mental problems with healthcare technologies. The team Potato Trio from Singapore Polytechnic won the second prize with their business plan to establish a non-profit organisation to care for the mental well-being of millennials. The first prize was awarded to the team LINK from the Institute of Technical Education who proposed an innovative social enterprise that empowers seniors to live healthy and fulfilling lives with AI technologies and tools.

Besides the top three winning teams, seven teams were awarded consolation prizes for their quality business plans. Heartiest congratulations to all the winning teams and thank you to all teams for participating in our inaugural SUSS SBIZ Business Plan Competition 2020!
