Fostering Long-Term Ties with Chongqing Institutional Partners

As part of SUSS’s long-term engagements with our institutional partners in Chongqing, Dr Tay Huay Ling from School of Business (SBIZ) visited Chongqing City Management College (CCMC), one of SBIZ's MOU partners, last December.

During the visit, CCMC was the host for the 2019 Chongqing Higher Vocational College Professional Skills Training Programme for the Logistics Related Major Educators. The training programme was attended by more than 50 educators from over 10 vocational colleges in Chongqing.

Dr Tay participated as one of the speakers and shared on course and teaching development, as well as applied research projects under SUSS' Logistics and Supply Chain Management programme, from the Singapore perspective. Through a series of three interactive seminars with the Chongqing educators, the two sides also explored potential areas of synergies and shared experience in handling common challenges in their respective teaching and research domains.

Through this visit, the two schools also further reaffirmed their will to collaborate in delivering overseas experiential programmes in Chongqing-Singapore and will continue to foster future collaborations in teaching and research developments.
