SUSS Brand Challenge 2020

The SUSS Brand Challenge is back! This year, we saw 59 teams from five polytechnics who registered for the competition, and 8 emerged as the finalists. A big congratulations to Team Catalogue Inc (Republic Polytechnic) who won the top prize!

The competition aims to challenge participants with real-life industry issues, contributed by our industry partners. This year, we had Pet Lovers Centre, Commune Home Furniture and Carro as our industry partners.

The winning team developed a set of brand activation strategy for Commune Home Furniture where they focused on the theme “Make Your First Home Last”. The proposal focused on Commune’s concept of offering ample furniture options for every home, without breaking the bank. Their integrated brand activation included a campaign that involved a contest, influencer, video and digital marketing.

Team Artemis (Ngee Ann Polytechnic) and The Student Agency (Singapore Polytechnic) took the first and second runners up spots respectively. All of them walked away with shopping vouchers worth up to $3000.

All participants were issued a Certificate of Participation, while all finalists were awarded a provisional offer of admission to the Bachelor of Science in Marketing with Minor programme at SUSS.
