Accomplished Collaboration

Land Transport Authority of Singapore

Established on 1 September 1995, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) is a statutory board under the Ministry of Transport that spearheads land transport developments in Singapore. It aims to provide an efficient and cost-effective land transport system that meets different needs, with the ultimate goal of a smooth and seamless journey for all.

On 25 February 2010, SUSS signed an MOU with LTA to conduct a Master of Science in Urban Transport Management programme. This programme, jointly developed by UniSIM and the LTA Academy, provides a holistic and rigorous postgraduate training in urban transport management, and is the first of its kind in the region. The partnership was renewed on 1 September 2015, leading to the two organisations to jointly develop and deliver a revamped Master in Management (Urban Transportation) programme. This new programme combines key urban transport modules from the earlier Master of Science programme with management modules from UniSIM’s newly launched MBA programme; allowing students to build a strong foundation in management skills on top of their specialty areas, and stay relevant in an ever-changing business landscape.
