Project Dignity Pte Ltd

Project Dignity is a social enterprise which focuses on the training of the disabled and the disadvantaged to work in the food and beverage industry, with the mission to build and return dignity to these individuals through vocation with passion. It runs the hawker centre and training school, Dignity Kitchen, as a training and development platform. Since 2012, Project Dignity has been offering programmes such as the Certificate in Culinary Arts, as part of the Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ).

On 18 November 2015, SUSS and Project Dignity signed an MOU, committing to develop curriculum targeted at those who wish to venture into the food and beverage industry in areas such as managing a food court, setting up a café or operating a franchise. This partnership gives participants the opportunity to read university-level courses at SUSS. With Project Dignity taking charge of the practical components on running a basic food stall, and SUSS offering modules on management and finance; students will acquire the necessary higher-level knowledge and skills beyond managing a stall.
