The Master of Arts in Chinese Language and Literature programme was launched in 2004 by SIM University (UniSIM) and Beijing Normal University (BNU) in response to the call by Chinese language enthusiasts to provide an avenue by which to pursue higher studies in the field.
The programme is entirely taught at UniSIM by BNU faculty. The curriculum comprises 10 research-based courses featuring in-depth exploration of Chinese language and literature. Students must complete a compulsory dissertation in their final year of study.
* On 17 March 2017, SIM University (UniSIM) was renamed Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) as part of its re-structuring to become a Singapore autonomous university.
