On 17 July 2007, SIM University (UniSIM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Workforce Development Authority (WDA).
Under the MOU, UniSIM recognises and accepts the Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) Diploma in Retail Management awarded by the Singapore Institute of Retail Studies as an alternative entry qualification to UniSIM's BSc in Marketing programme.
* On 17 March 2017, SIM University (UniSIM) was renamed Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) as part of its re-structuring to become a Singapore autonomous university.
