Professor Ng Eng Juan is Adjunct Professor of the School of Business, Singapore University of Social Sciences. He has over 30 years of experience in the academia, teaching as a faculty member in both SUSS and Nanyang Technological University for the financial accounting courses in the Bachelor of Accountancy and MBA programmes. His previous appointment in SUSS also included Head of Accountancy Programme.
Prof Ng graduated with B Ec (First Class honours) from Universiti Malaya and MBA from University of Southern California. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA).
Prof Ng has been actively involved in the accounting profession. Over the years, he has served as a member of several technical committees of ISCA and Accounting Standards Council. He has also served as external examiner to several accounting professional bodies/qualifications in Singapore, China and UK. He conducts regular public “Continuing Professional Education” courses for accountants and auditors, and provides inhouse training programmes to public accounting firms and other organisations. He also provides consultancy services and is currently the Financial Reporting Standards consultant to a Singapore statutory board. Prof Ng’s research interests are in the area of accounting standards and practices, and has extensive journal articles and professional accounting books published in that area.
