Dr Anuradha Rao is a Singapore-based cybersecurity and cyber-safety awareness entrepreneur and lecturer, passionate about helping individuals, families and organisations stay safer, healthier and happier online. Through consulting, workshops, education, and communication services, she raises awareness about how to identify and manage cyber-threats to mental, financial, and physical safety and wellbeing. Since 2009, Dr Rao has taught, conducted research, and delivered trainings in these areas at various higher education institutes in Singapore, including the National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Lasalle College of the Arts, Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT), University of Liverpool, and the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS). Dr Rao has a PhD in Communications and New Media from NUS, and a Master of Arts in Political Science from Jawaharlal Nehru University, India. She has been based in Singapore since 2008, where she lives with her family and serves the community.
