Dr. Xiao Qi (Gigi) graduated with a MBBS degree from Jiaotong University China before going to Australia to further her medical studies at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Sydney. Dr Gigi also holds multiple degrees on interpreting and teaching, and has over 20 years of experience teaching tertiary students. She successfully co-founded two start-ups, in addition to undertaking interpreting assignments for Australian states and parliament, before transitioning to become a freelance conference Interpreter.
She has interpreted for numerous political leaders in the APAC region and has translated books and numerous articles for SCI submissions. Dr Gigi has been frequently invited to give seminar talks at universities in the APAC region. She is actively involved in the development of MTI course and curriculum design for many prestigious universities in the region, is keynote speaker in industry conferences and workshops. She travelled to 88 countries.
