Rita works as a Manager with the Child Support Services, leading small group intervention programs with NTUC First Campus Co-operatives Ltd, a network of some 170 childcare centres in Singapore.
She has accumulated years of Early Childhood experience with a diverse portfolio, including Early Childhood Teacher, Principal, Project Manager and Adult Educator. She leads and manages various teams of intervention teachers, such as the Classroom Co-Facilitators and Literacy Teachers. She also works closely with the preschool educators in childcare centres to assist children with diverse needs. She trains and coaches leaders and teachers, develops key curriculum programs and collaborates with external and internal key partners to support children with diverse needs. A highly motivated practitioner who has special interests in research and families from disadvantaged backgrounds, she believes that everyone has the right to experience joy and success in the classroom.
