SUSS Service-Learning has curated a range of external courses and resources from government agencies and social service agencies for students to tap on to expand their learning on community engagement or be included in their community engagement programming.

Community Engagement and Me: Starting with the IndividualA course under the ‘Learn for Life’ Series developed by SUSS Service-Learning. Open to anyone who is keen to learn more about community engagement as a lifelong learning practice. The self-paced e-module addresses the why and what of building up community engagement as a movement, exploring the role of the individual and the importance of multi-stakeholdership.
Navigating the Community Engagement JourneyA course under the ‘Learn for Life’ Series developed by SUSS Service-Learning. Open to anyone who is keen to learn more about community engagement as a lifelong learning practice. The self-paced e-module addresses the how of community engagement and participation, as well as explores creative and participatory approaches of community stakeholders in building an ecosystem of social support and cohesion.
Forget Us NotAn initiative that aims to improve awareness and understanding of dementia towards building dementia-friendly communities in Singapore

SportCaresStudents who intend to use sporting activities for community causes may tap on the resources and grants from SportsCares, an arm of Sport Singapore.  
Community ChestStudents who intend to conduct fundraising activities can consider tapping on ComChest’s platform. 
National Heritage Board

Students who organise activities and outings for children, youth and seniors may consider tapping on NHB’s training and resources that encourage exploration of Singapore’s heritage.

Hear NHB share about the various digital and physical resources they provide.

National Library Board

Explore connecting your activity programming to public programmes curated and conducted by the library, which include storytelling sessions for children. 

North West CDC

Tap on the NW CDC WeCare Fund for projects that engage and benefit the district community or join current ongoing initiatives. 

SG Cares

Be a part of the national movement dedicated to building a more caring and inclusive Singapore – seek out available volunteering opportunities or be inspired by the acts of kindness by other Singaporean.
