ASZ223e Professional English Writing is designed to build knowledge and skills in a variety of writing genres experienced in the academic and workplace environments. The course provides students with comprehensive knowledge on traditional and contemporary ways of expressing in the written form. Areas of writing covered in this unit include: academic, research, persuasive, media and workplace (reports, letters, and so on). The ability to write well and be understood is a critical skill for all professionals. This need for articulate professionals is critical as economies mature and rely more on digital and cultural industries to grow. The objective is to equip students with the ability to organise, structure and deliver professionally written documents in a variety of situations.

E-Learning: BLENDED - Learning is done MAINLY online using interactive study materials in Canvas. Students receive guidance and support from online instructors via discussion forums and emails.
